How much do audio transcription services cost?

What is your typical turnaround time?
We offer a range of turnaround times to suit every budget including a premium, expedited service.
How can I send you and audio or video recording?
We have several options available to you for the secure transfer and upload of your digital audio or video files. Physical assets can be delivered securely using specialist mail options and DX (our address is DX 742483 Exeter 34).
How long does it take to prepare a transcript?
This depends on the length of the recording. We offer fast turnaround options for urgent work. Our lowest rates are for the longer delivery timeframes.
Can you work with a poor-quality recording?
We appreciate that audio quality can vary enormously. Equipment, background noise and ambient sounds can significantly affect the quality of recordings. Our professional transcribers work with a very wide range of audio types and qualities, but please note, we reserve the right to flag problem audio with our clients and potentially levy a surcharge for poor-quality recordings as these take longer to transcribe. You can send your recording to us for a free assessment and quote. We will always discuss any additional charges with you before proceeding with a job.
What will my finished transcript look like?
We will provide you with a template or can work with your own if preferred.
How can I be sure of the quality of my transcript?
We are ISO 9001 certified with an established quality management system in place. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality transcription services with exceptional customer service.
What kind of transcription do you produce?
We provide official record transcription services for investigations, witness interviews, PACE and ABE interviews, company meetings, HR grievance and disciplinary meetings, inquests, court and formal hearings. We produce 12,000+ transcripts each year.
Can you support locations across the UK with your note taking services?
Yes, we have a large team of note takers. Where possible we will use note takers in the locality of your meeting, but otherwise our note takers will travel to attend. Our travel expenses are charged at cost and always agreed in advance with clients.
Can your note takers attend a meeting remotely, by joining via the telephone, or joining a conference call?
Yes, our note takers can provide notes via virtual meetings.
How much notice do you require to provide a note taker for a meeting?
This will depend on the location of the meeting and whether you require a note taker to attend in person or remotely. Our aim is always to be highly responsive to all requests, but we ask that you give us as much notice as possible.
Can your note takers work without making an audio recording?
Yes, they can work without an audio recording. They produce a near verbatim record. They can work both with and without an audio recording.
How long will it take to get a copy of the notes?
We have a variety of turnaround times ranging from same day to 5 days.
How will I receive my notes?
We have several options available to you. We can send the notes to a specified email address or if you are concerned about confidentiality we will create a secure FTP account and upload the notes to you. We are ISO 27001 certified and have an established information security management system in place
How much will it cost?

Do I need to provide a template?
